Much like every year, Bollywood stars celebrated Diwali with much excitement. Karisma Kapoor made her way to Pataudi Palace in Haryana, Saif Ali Khan’s ancestral property, to bring in the festivities with sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and her kids Taimur and Jehangir. The Mentalhood actor took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from the intimate celebrations. Along with posting a solo photo, she first put up a picture with sister Kareena, followed by a cute snap with her nephew Jehangir in tow, who was celebrating his very first Diwali. For the festival of lights, Karisma opted for an Anita Dongre kurta set that we are inching towards for a puja. Did you miss seeing this ensemble? Karisma Kapoor’s pistachio green Anita Dongre kurta came with pretty prints
Aptly titled Utsa, Karisma Kapoor’s kurta set came in a soothing pistachio shade—a beautiful alternative to tried-and-tested blush pinks and pastel blues. The full-sleeved top showcased a semi-anarkali silhouette and was emblazoned with charming botanical prints all over the fabric in a contrasting shade of salmon. Delicate embroidery, pink piping and gota patti on the yoke added a touch of sparkle to the otherwise muted look. The same work and print was extended to the matching dupatta, whereas a solid pistachio green churidaar balanced the overall look.
Karisma Kapoor wore statement earrings with her Anita Dongre kurta
Karisma Kapoor styled her cotton silk pistachio kurta with a pair of chandbaali earrings. A pair of cream juttis with intricate multi-hued embroidery called Ayana by Fizzy Goblet got Kapoor’s vote of approval for the occasion. Keeping her hair in half-up, half-down ‘do, she completed her beauty look with au naturale makeup for the indoor celebrations.
